Hi! I’m Nelson Liu, a graphic designer and illustrator from Taiwan. Using diverse mediums to create visuals and experiences to inspire thoughts and action.
I’m currently based in Minneapolis, MN, diving deep into narrative illustrations and graphic design as an MFA student at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD). With a background in commercial design, my practice continually explores the balance between art and design, and how artistic expression can breathe life into everyday experiences.
Beyond school, I like to volunteer for events and festivals, participate in gallery shows, and create animations for my favorite gymnasts. Right now, my passions include gymnastics (duh!), black metal, and improving my German :-)
