Hi! I’m Nelson Liu, a graphic designer and illustrator from Taiwan. My works incorporate diverse mediums to bridge the gap between illustration and design, crafting visuals and experiences that spark thought and inspire actions.
I’m currently based in Minneapolis, MN, diving deep into various forms of visual sutdies as an MFA student at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD). With a background in commercial design, my work constantly navigates the balance between art and design—finding ways for creative expression to breathe life into everyday experiences.
Beyond school, I stay active in the creative community by volunteering at events and festivals, participate in gallery shows, and create animations for my favorite gymnasts. Lately, my passions include gymnastics, learning about local histories, and improving my German. :-)
