Hello there! I’m Nelson Liu, and I am currently diving deep into narrative illustrations as an MFA student at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. With a background in commercial design, my practice continually explores the balance between art and design, and how artistic expression can breathe life into our everyday experiences.
People often say I’m a calm soul with an open mind, yet I possess a childlike wonder that keeps me intrigued by both the tangible world and the vast landscapes of imagination. Right now, my passions include gymnastics, black metal, and sprucing up my German :-P
