MCAD Spring 2025 CommencementFor the 2025 Commencement at MCAD (Minneapolis College of Art and Design), I drew inspiration from the bittersweet tone of the film Call Me by Your Name. Hand-drawn calligraphy combined with digital illustration creates an atmosphere that reflects the in-between, transitional nature of graduation, while pushing MCAD’s visual language toward a more artisanal direction.

Publication & Calligraphy
There is also a program booklet to show the schedule of the day of the event. I created additional calligraphy and added them in to loosen up to tightness of the more rational set typeface and layout. 

Promotional Design
The promotional design includes e-vites, social media images, and real-life promotional materials. I extracted elements from the origianl main illustration, and create new types of the lanscapes and layouts to use them on different application.
