As a book about Israel, an unfamiliar country to the Taiwanese, I used the author’s photography of a desert to set the tone; adding a Hebrew sentence behind the mountains implies the country, with the title font done in ink brush style, conveys an adventurous quality. Serif fonts are used for most texts to enhance cultural authenticity, while angled lines aid text hierarchy and evoke a Middle Eastern aesthetic.

The book achieved success in terms of sales owing to its numerous publicity events, including author talks, book launches and promotional shows. To make these events visually appealing, the book cover image was extended to the promotional images, creating eye-catching visual displays, particularly in Taiwanese bookstores with their more neutral and warm color tones.
